2025-2026 Safe and Inclusive School Plan
Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.
Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.
The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.
Key Priorities and Goals
This year we are focusing on creating a strong community where everyone’s identity is affirmed and there is a sense of belonging. We are doing this to provide all students with a safe, caring and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect, acceptance and empathy.
Key Actions or Strategies
- Strengthen Student Belonging and Emotional Well-Being Create a safe, welcoming space in the Eagle Lounge/Re-engagement Room where students can build positive relationships with caring adults and peer mentors, fostering a stronger sense of belonging and emotional resilience.
- Promote Academic Re-engagement and Equity Through Credit Rescue/ Intervention Utilize the Eagle Lounge/Re-engagement Room as a supportive academic space where students can access daily credit rescue opportunities and re-engage with their learning.
Community and Home Connections
- Encourage your child/child in your care for to get involved in the school community.
- Try to keep the line of communication open and seek out school support as needed
